Below is a sampling of goats we have for sale. If you’re looking for something specific, please reach out to us. We like to place goats in herds that will thrive and suit your needs/expectations. We have additional herd sires available, older does that are milk stand trained, and younger doelings nearing their time to be bred. We do not blindly place our goats without vetting where they are going. Please plan on discussing your herd with us! We look forward to talking with you.

Registered Buck

Ghost Town Farm MT Bugs Cutty

Ghost Town Farm MT Bugs Cutty is a chocolate chamoise buck from Old Mountain Farm genetics. Super friendly buck with good depth of body, spring of rib, and rear leg angulation. Pictures don’t do him justice. He’s well-muscled, lean, and correct. He would be a great prospect if you plan on doing a little showing for 4-H. He has sired some lovely daughters here.  See his impressive pedigree HERE.

DOE
Mesquite Valley BW Paisley

Mesquite Valley BW Paisley

Paisley has one freshening behind her belt. She did very well as a first freshener with a nice long and level lactation. She also milked very well on a once-per-day milking. She is very good on the stanchion, has nice dairy skin, larger orifices for a faster milkout, and a nice long body which enables her to carry quads with ease. Easy kidder, and a super friendly doe that gets along well with her herdmates.

Doelings
Mesquite Valley F Desert “fill in the blank”

Both of these doelings are littermate sisters. Chamoisee doeling is polled with brown eyes. Black roan doeling is disbudded with brown eyes. Both were raised as bottle kids and are climb-in-your-lap friendly. Their dam (Mesquite Valley FK Sonoran Sun) is a second freshener this year. She freshened on 3/26 with quads, her first test was 4/14 and she milked 6lbs. 3.8% Protein, 5.9% butterfat, SCC=19. Sonora’s dam went Elite (top 95%) as a first freshener so we have some very nice milk genetics here. Their sire is out of one of my best milking lines comprised of Old Mountain Farm, Rosasharn, and Redstone genetics. Expect some serious milk out of these girls!

PENDING SALE
Mesquite Valley PP Free Spirit

This lovely doe has freshened twice and is trained on the stanchion. Because of her long body, she carries quads like a champ and we’ve never had to pull kids out of her. She is a little shy and will need time to warm up to her new humans and I would describe her personality as demure and would do better in a less chaotic environment. She is polled and has blue eyes. She has a nice udder that’s shaped well for hand milking and she’s well-behaved on the milk stand. Her production is in the average range but you’ll get a nice long steady lactation from her. She’s ready to be bred.

Junior Doe
Mesquite Valley A “you name her”

This girl has not been bred yet. Her DOB: April 2023 which makes her ready to be bred this fall. She was a bottle kid and is very friendly. She’s been disbudded and has brown eyes. She’s one of Paisley’s doelings. Nice milking genetics. We’re keeping her sister.

PENDING SALE
Mesquite Valley fk Giselle (Peanut)

This is a hard doe for us to let go but we are keeping her unicorn daughter and we need to thin the herd. She’s a first freshener this year and only had a singleton. Her first freshener production has been at the bottom of the pack but I fully expect her production to substantially increase as a second freshener. Her dam is a great milker, above average in the pack with a long steady lactation. Her sire is out of our top-of-the-line DesertNanny buck and her conformation is just beautiful. She has a nice long body which is great for carrying kids. She’s been disbudded but has horn scurs around 3-inches in length and brown eyes. Loaded with moonspots and definitely passes those to her offspring. Solid temperament and great on the milk stand.

Unregistered Goats for Pets

$80

We have a few wethers (castrated males) for sale to good homes. All of our wethers have been bottle babies and are very friendly and love being around people and getting into mischief. If you’re interested in adding some fun to your farm, send us an email. We do want our goats to go to homes that either have livestock guardian dogs or a shelter where they are kept safe from night-time predators and we do screen all potential homes. Thank you for your understanding.

Before placing a deposit on any of our animals, please be sure to read our Sales Policy page first. Thank you.
